About James Anthony Bucci
I share one-minute Bible stories every day, bringing the Bible's most surprising moments to life for people who may never open a commentary.
The When God Shows Up series grew out of those videos. People kept asking for more than a minute, so I wrote the stories out, thirty at a time, each with a King James key verse, a short reflection, a prayer and a few questions to think about. There are now eight books and 240 days of stories.
I wrote them for everyday readers: people who mean to read the Bible and keep letting the days slip by, and small-group leaders who need something simple to talk about together. If you want verse-by-verse commentary or Greek and Hebrew word studies, these aren't that.
