Privacy policy
In plain words: I only collect what I need to send you Bible stories, and I never sell or share it.
What I collect
If you sign up for the free 7-day devotional, I collect your email address. That's it. I don't ask for your name, address or phone number.
How I use it
Your email is used only to send you the free devotional and one short Bible story by email each week, plus the occasional note about a new book. I never sell, rent or share your email with anyone. Emails are sent through MailerLite, an email service that stores the list for me.
Unsubscribing and removing your email
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and one click removes you. You can also write to me at WhenGodShowsUp@outlook.com and ask me to delete your email address, and I will.
Buying a book
PDF books are sold through Gumroad, and Kindle and paperback books through Amazon. When you buy, your payment and contact details go to them, not to this website, and their own privacy policies apply: Gumroad's privacy policy and Amazon's privacy notice.
The free daily app
The app saves your progress and anything you write in "My journal" in your own web browser, on your own device. It is never sent to me, and I can't see it. Clearing your browser's data will erase it.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies, and it doesn't run analytics that follow you around. The page lettering is loaded from Google Fonts, and the website itself is hosted by Netlify, which keeps basic server logs needed to run any website. If that ever changes, I'll update this page.
Children
This website is meant for adults and families. I don't knowingly collect email addresses from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, write to me and I'll remove it.
